Central United Church of Christ was 150 years old on January 1, 2008!  Throughout the year 2008 our church celebrated  with many special references to our history through our worship services and in many other forms and expressions.  This will gave folks an ample opportunity to “soak” in and learn about our rich and unique history as a local church and member church of  the United Church of Christ. 

As a follow up to our anniversary year we are currently building an achieves room to store our historical documents and many photos.   When all completed folks may come by and do research or any other browsing they may choose regarding Central Church's long and unique history.  Dr. Walter Schroeder has agreed to be our church historian for the year 2009. 

Please note the history books are still on sale and may be purchased during office hours at the secretary's office.  This book is a thorough and complete history of Central Church and was written and published in recognition of our 150th anniversary celebrated in 2008!
